Power has been restored to the Hazleton campus, all affected campus' networking services have been restored to normal operations.

On Tuesday, August 18, 2009, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window (5:00-7:00 a.m.), Information Technology Services (ITS) will release a mobile version of Penn State WebMail and upgrade the IMAP service.

iParadigms, LLC, the company who offers the TurnItIn service, has sent notification that they have scheduled maintenance on the TII system this Saturday, August 8, 2009, from 8:00 am to midnight PACIFIC DAYLIGHT TIME. During this time, the system will be unavailable. Please see more information at the TurnItIn site at: http://its.psu.edu/turnitin/

WebMail performance returned to normal around 1:25 PM today. Currently we have WebMail quotas turned off. Because of this users are seeing that they have used 100% of their quota. We have just put a temporary patch in place to no longer display the user's quota.

On Friday, August 14, during the regularly scheduled maintenance window (5:00-7:00 a.m.), Information Technology Services (ITS) will update the User Manged Groups (UMGs) Management Interface (https://umg.its.psu.edu/) to include several user-requested enhancements. After the update is completed, users will be able to enjoy the following features:

DLT will be installing a security patch on Aug 11 during the 5-7 a.m. maintenance window which will interrupt the following services.

There will be a brief interruption to University Libraries' services on Thursday, August 6 (continuing work started on Wednesday, August 5), during the 5-7 a.m. maintenance window. These interruptions are in preparation for some upcoming authentication changes. All WebAccess Authenticated services (Thumbprint page) may be impacted. For example, Techsmart, Helpdesk, The Cat (My Library Account) and the Libraries'/DLT Community Hub.

On Thursday, August 6th, 2009, during the maintenance window, TNS will perform work on the fiber optic converters at Ogontz. During this time, there will be momentary interruptions in network services to and from the Ogontz network. All work will be completed by 7:00am.

As of 6:15 AM, all eCommerce services are back online and available.
