Creating a Computer Administrator Account - Windows 2000

 

Windows 2000

Please see the steps below to create an administrator account on our computer:

  1. Log into the machine with the existing administrator password .
  2. Click on the Start button.
  3. Now select Settings.
  4. Choose the Control Panel.
  5. Double click on User names and passwords .
  6. Click on the Add button
  7. Fill in the boxes.
  8. Click on Next.
  9. Type in a new password.
  10. Now verify the password.
  11. Click on next.
  12. Choose Other in the next screen.
  13. Select Administrator in the pull down menu.
  14. Click the Finish button.
